okay, so I'm having a little contest, right here in this here journal. to enter, all you have to do is comment on the journal. for serious
okay, so the point of the contest is..........CREATE A NAME FOR THIS SERIES!!
that's it. just make a name you think fits for this idea I've had in my head->

so the story takes place in a more futuristic world, so yes there are really integrated computers, intergallactic travel, space ships, and fun stuffs, but for some reason no flying cars. people just walk or take the uber stylish and dirty metro. huge wars between systems are unfortunately commonplace, with The Higher Nova (or simply "the Nova" for short) as the main baddie, conquering planet after planet. the Nova is run by the leadership of a dictatorship government, which has no more idea of what it's doing than naruto knows elementary math. the real force behind it is an even deeper and worse evil, The Complex and (at the risk of this starting to sound like star wars *cringes*) Prince Fargine. He's strong, he's evil, and he loves speaking in French.
the main plot is centered around the military group of the so called "police force" of the universe, the rebel alliance if you will on a larger and less secret scale. at every turn the Vardent resists the nova, trying to re-establish democracy in the world. for the most part the balance has held, but pretty early into the series the Vardent receives some shocking news regarding Nova...
and that's where our characters come in. Our protagonist, Dravid, is a recent recruit who has joined to take his father's place, seeing as he has stopped communicating with his family *dun dun dun* hoping to find him. He's strong at heart and of very noble character, but apart from wrestling with his neighbors or playing a few rounds of shooter games on the viz holos he has no fighting experience. plus (although he hides it really well) he has a fear of blood and death. His friend who helps him throught the adjustment process and becomes quite fond of him as a friend!! is the battle seasoned Chiara. Don't get me wrong, just because they become excellent friends later, she still picks on him and when he first comes in treats him like everyone else in her unit. (she's a squad commander or something)
graaaaah. *wiggles fingers* that's all I can make into sensible English for now, more information upon request. or I'll just add more if I think more be needed. ^^
